Fiscalization of Receipts in Spain (VERIFACTU / VERIFAC) in Altegio

To simplify business operations in Spain and ensure compliance with new legal requirements, Altegio is launching an integration with the VERIFAC service to transmit data to the VERIFACTU system — a mandatory standard of the Spanish Tax Agency for transparent reporting and anti-fraud control.

What is VERIFACTU? #

VERIFACTU is a government fiscalization system used to transmit sales data in accordance with Spanish legal requirements.

Altegio is integrated with VERIFAC, which provides the technical transmission of receipts to the VERIFACTU system and helps businesses correctly comply with legal requirements.

A fiscalized receipt includes the required elements:

  • company details: name, NIF, address
  • date and time of the transaction
  • unique receipt identifier
  • information about goods or services
  • amounts and taxes
  • digital hash: protection against changes
  • QR code for authenticity verification

After submission, the data is protected from editing.

How does it work? #

  1. You create a sale in Altegio
  2. Click the Send receipt button
  3. The data is automatically transmitted to VERIFAC
  4. The receipt is registered in the VERIFACTU system

Fiscalization takes place within your usual workflow — quickly and automatically.

Refunds and adjustments #

The integration automatically transmits:

  • refunds
  • adjustments
  • cancellations

All transactions are recorded in the fiscalization system.

Receipt monitoring #

All submitted receipts are displayed in real time in a dedicated Telegram channel for convenient monitoring.

How to connect #

Step 1. Sign an agreement with VERIFAC
Sign a contract on the VERIFAC website and receive access tokens.

Step 2. Connect the integration in Altegio
In your Altegio account, go to:

Integrations → Fiscal documents → VERIFAC
