What is it and what is it used for? #
On 2GIS Maps, customers can book appointments online with beauty salons, barbershops, nail studios, and other service businesses.
With this widget, it becomes much easier for clients to book services because they don’t need to go to a website, open another app, or call.
You can track when an appointment was made via 2GIS. To do this, go to Reports > Appointments — in the Source column it will show — redirect from 2GIS.
Important
Connecting this feature is FREE for all companies in any type of business.If you have a paid placement on 2GIS Maps, the online booking button will not be displayed.
Integration setup #
To display the online booking button in 2GIS, you need to:
- Make sure your company is added to 2GIS Maps.
- In Online booking > Online booking links, one of the links must be set as the main one (the widget can be location-based or chain-based). This link will be displayed on 2GIS Maps.
- All other booking forms must be set as additional. To do this, open the link settings and uncheck Make this link the main if it is enabled for multiple links.
Check the following information:
- Business category – Any
- Countries and cities:
- Kazakhstan
- Kyrgyzstan
- Uzbekistan
The information in Altegio must match the information in your company card in 2GIS. Check that the data is correct — you can update it if needed.
Company matching is done using the following fields (in Altegio, these fields are available in Settings > My location > Business information):
- Company name
- Address
- Phone
- Website
After all the steps above are completed, the online booking button on 2GIS Maps will appear automatically within 1–2 days.
Disabling the 2GIS integration #
If you no longer need the online booking widget on 2GIS, contact us and we will disable this integration. In your message, include a link to your 2GIS company card.
