Used if you have many services and don’t want to add each one manually. Of course, you’ll need to spend some time creating the Excel file, but ultimately uploading via Excel will allow you to upload all services much faster.
Prepare the Excel file. #
Required columns are:
•Service categories
•Service names
•Price (From and To)
Service duration (In seconds, in multiples of 300 s)
Additional columns (optional for upload) are:
•Receipt name
•Name for online booking
•Employees providing the services.
To link employees correctly, you need to specify the employee’s ID in Altegio, not their name (all employees must be created in advance!). You can find the ID in the employee’s settings—it will appear in the search bar.
If a service is provided by several employees, their IDs should be separated using ##, without any extra characters. (For example: 2757459##286488##247160).
Service Description
Altegio allows you to upload services from Excel without prices — in this case, the service price will be set to 0. You can update it later, but if you already have the prices, it’s best to enter them right away.
If the price is fixed, enter the same value in both the FROM and TO columns.
Go to the “Settings” section > “Main settings” > “Services”.
Click the “Excel actions” button in the top right corner and select “Import from Excel”.
Copy the data from your Excel table into the input field and click the “Start upload” button. You can upload up to 500 rows at a time.
In the newly opened window, match the data to the table headers: “Category,” “Name,” “Price from” (minimum), “Price to” (maximum), etc.
Click the “Save” button.
Important:
Only 500 services will be displayed.
If you have more than 500 services, you’ll need to upload them in two separate batches.
