Before creating a loyalty program you need to create Card types and assign promotions to them. You can assign more than one promotion to one loyalty card. You can assign one promotion to more than one loyalty card.
There are two types of spaces in Altegio: locations and chains. Locations — with yellow highlight on the left, chains — with purple highlight on the left. Locations and chains have different sections.
To open the chain you need to do the following:
- Click the name of the location in the top left corner.
- In the drop-down list select the desired chain.
Creating a card type
In the chain interface go to Loyalty > Card types section and click the Add a card type button.
1. On the new opened page indicate the Name of the card type, i.e. Loyal customer card.
2. Select Parameter Source for Savings Rules. You can choose where to take the data from (the amount paid by the client, the amount sold to the client, the number of visits), on the basis of which bonuses will be accrued in accumulative promotions with the “Loyalty card” rule source:
- Entire chain — from all locations of the chain
- Active locations — locations selected for the promotion in the Valid for the locations list
3. Select the Location that this card will be valid for.
4. Select according what rule Automatic issue will apply to:
- Issue at any location — if the card should be issued to new clients in all locations.
- Issue in connected locations — if the card should be issued to new clients in specific locations.
- Don’t give to new clients — if you prefer to issue cards to clients manually.
5. Indicate whether unused points must expire and when.
6. Indicate limitations of application (deduction of points):
- any services;
- not for services;
- some services (when selecting this type Add button will appear using which you can select categories/services);
- any products
- not for products
- some products (when selecting this type Add button will appear using which you can select categories/products)
7. Indicate limitation of payment by bonuses (fixed amount or % of check amount). For instance, if the service costs 1000 Russian rubles and the client has 1000 bonuses and you don’t want your employee to work for free you can limit payment with points.
8. Click the Save button.
Editing and configuring notifications
After you create them you can edit or delete all card types in the Loyalty > Card types section. Also, after creation the Notifications section becomes available where you can configure templates for notifications about card transactions.
