The new version of online booking allows you to set any color of the interface and customize the widget design to your brand.

Color setting

To set colors for Altegio widget:

1. Go to Online booking section.

2. Select the required online booking link, click its name or the Set up button to switch to editing mode.

3. In the newly opened window locate the Online–booking design section.

4. Select your preferred theme for the widget – either light or dark.

5. Choose a suitable color of the buttons and icons from the palette or enter your preferred color in HEX format.

The widget is set to black color #121212 by default. You can always return it by clicking the Revert to default color button.

The selected color could be one of low contrast, which means that texts and elements will be barely readable. In this case there will be displayed an error warning “Low contrast of elements. Choose a lighter or darker shade.” You will not be able to save and apply this color in the widget.

To customize the way group events and service categories are displayed in your widget, follow these steps:

Display of Group Events:

You have two options for how group events are shown:

All events on one page: This option will display all events in a single, continuous list.

By days: This option will organize and display events by specific dates, making it easier to navigate through events scheduled on different days.

Service Categories Display:

You can also choose how service categories are displayed:

Horizontally as tags: This option will display service categories in a horizontal layout, where each category is presented as a tag.

Vertically as a collapsible list: This option allows service categories to be listed vertically in a collapsible format, which users can expand or collapse as needed.

Group events

Group booking allows multiple clients to sign up for the same group event simultaneously. If this booking type is set as the default in the appointment settings, only group events will be available for booking in the schedule and widget.

The key difference between group and individual booking is that a client cannot book online unless the event has already been created in the schedule.

Additionally, unlike individual bookings, group booking supports only one scenario.

For group events, filters for employees, services, and resources are available, helping clients quickly find the events they need.

In the widget settings, you can choose to:

• Display all events on one screen or separately by days.
  • If all events are shown on one screen, clients can scroll down to view more options instead of switching between dates.
  • Date switching is still available. If the schedule is created for several months in advance, clients can quickly select the desired month in the calendar.
    
    
• Allow clients to book multiple events at the same time.
  • The maximum number of events a client can book in one session is 10.

Notes

• Online prepayment is available for group events.
  • Unlike individual bookings, only full prepayment (100%) is supported—partial prepayment is not available.
  • Prepayment can be set as mandatory or optional. 
• Online sales of memberships and certificates are supported. 
• Access restrictions can be applied for online booking.
  • You can limit bookings to only those clients who have an active membership for the service.

Additionally you can upload your first screen image within this section. Please note that for the image to be displayed correctly it must be of a high quality and the optimal format is 16:9, 12 MB maximum.

Logo setting

To upload a logo to be shown in an online booking widget:

• in the Altegio main menu go to Settings > Location Settings;
• upload the image to the logo field, save the changes.   The best resolution is 500×500, the max file size: 12 mb.
