New Multi-Event Booking Feature in Altegio

Altegio now offers the ability to book multiple events simultaneously through the online booking widget.

Some clients frequently book several events in a row, and now they can do this much faster with the new “Book more” option. For example, if a yoga class is held by Helga every Tuesday and Thursday, a client can book multiple weeks of this event in one go.

Important Information

Multi-event booking is only available with the same employee.

A maximum of 10 events can be booked at once.

Booking for multiple events can be done via a subscription. Altegio will verify if the client has a valid subscription for the selected service. However, at this time, the system doesn’t track remaining sessions, meaning a client can book three events even if their subscription only covers two visits.

Multi-event booking is not available if online prepayment is enabled for the branch. In this case, the “Book more” option will not be shown.

How It Works

Activate the Multi-Event Booking Option
In the widget settings, a new option called “Multi-event booking” is available.

If the multi-event booking option is not activated, clients will only be able to book one event at a time. They will need to select an event, fill in their details, and submit for each booking.

If the multi-event booking option is activated, clients can book multiple events (from 1 to 10) with the same employee. If the events are hosted by different employees, a separate booking must be created for each. Prepayment and subscription restrictions may apply.

Client Selects an Event
The client chooses a suitable event from the list and clicks on it.

Choose Additional Dates
On the next page, under the “Book More” section, the client can select additional dates for similar events with the same service and employee. If there are more than three available dates, they can click “See All Dates” to view the full list.

To select an event, check the box; to deselect, uncheck it. Clients can also filter events by a specific day of the week, showing all available events for that day.

If necessary, clients can adjust the number of spots in one booking—useful for booking multiple people under the same phone number.

Complete the Booking
After clicking “Continue,” the client will need to fill in their contact details and confirm the booking. If necessary, the number of events can be edited by clicking the pencil icon. Events already selected will be marked, and clients can deselect them by unchecking the boxes.

View Bookings
On the next page, all booked events will be displayed at the top. To view detailed information for an event, click on the date. Each event can be added to Google Calendar and canceled if allowed in the online booking settings (Settings > Online booking > Cancellation & rescheduling rules).

Each booked event is separate and can be rescheduled or canceled individually in the booking journal, client account, or Aunio mobile app (if enabled in the settings).

Setting Up Multi-Event Booking

Go to Online Booking > Links and click on the relevant link or use the “Configure” button. If necessary, create a new group booking link.

Scroll down to the group booking settings. These settings are only available for widgets with group or mixed bookings.
In the “Multi-event booking” section, enable the option “Allow clients to book multiple events.”

Choose the number of events clients can book at once, from 1 to 10. This setting does not affect the number of spots in a single event booking, only the number of events booked simultaneously. The number of spots per booking is controlled by the “Add Additional Spots to Event Booking” setting in the Appointment Calendar 

Click Save to apply the settings.
