The receptionist doesn\u2019t need to <strong>switch between browser tabs <\/strong>or search in a phone app to find what they need.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use all the benefits of modern messaging: <strong>send documents and images.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Don\u2019t miss incoming client messages <\/strong>thanks to built-in new message notifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chat features in the appointment calendar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The chat is <strong>available in the appointment calendar<\/strong> and can be opened\/closed with one button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The chat doesn\u2019t cover the appointment calendar;<strong> it opens on the right as a widget.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>While chatting with a client, you can <strong>create a visit for them in parallel.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The chat stays open when <strong>switching days of the week<\/strong> in the appointment calendar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The chat stays open when <strong>switching to any appointment calendar mode<\/strong>, for example \u201cTeam member schedule for the week\u201d or \u201cResources.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>full conversation history<\/strong> with the client is available in the chat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The chat button shows a <strong>red indicator<\/strong> when there is a new incoming message from a client. The appearance and design of the buttons may differ across partners. After clicking the identification button, the client\u2019s data will appear in the <strong>\u201cClients\u201d <\/strong>tab, where you can view the client\u2019s categories, the note from their profile, and visit history; open the client\u2019s past or upcoming booking\/event in the appointment calendar and go to the weekly schedule of the team member the client previously booked with. The chat automatically pulls the conversation with the client from the visit if their phone number is entered and that number has WhatsApp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When creating a new visit, the chat is unavailable because it \u201cdoesn\u2019t know\u201d the client\u2019s phone number yet. Simply enter the client\u2019s phone number and the chat will automatically find and display the conversation (if that number has WhatsApp). A full conversation history with the client is available in the chat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Connection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All internal chat functionality is implemented on the partner\u2019s side. Altegio provides partners with the ability to embed the chat into the interface and interact with it. At the moment, chat support has been implemented by our partners <strong>Integrilla<\/strong>, and soon by <strong>Fromni, Flowsell, and Message.Help.<\/strong> You can find the full list of partners in the Altegio Marketplace using the search key <strong>\u201cChat\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Connection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to \u201cChat\u201d tab, and on the \u201cVisit details\u201d tab in the visit window, once the partner enables the integration for your location on their side.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Open the chat window in the appointment calendar and enter your login and password for the partner\u2019s website, or start using the chat right away. The chat is connected and ready to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Notes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Chat is enabled only if a partner integration from <strong>Integrations &gt; Notifications<\/strong> is connected in your location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We recommend using Google Chrome.
