Team members who work with client data, bookings, and payments impact revenue and business security just as much as service providers. It’s important that the owner: has a transparent view of bookings/cash desk/finances, understands who is making what changes, and feels confident in financial security.

The new model makes the rules fair and easy to verify: whether someone is paid is determined not by their job title/role name, but by their actual capabilities (rights) in the system.

When do the changes apply?

The new rules will start applying only when purchasing a new subscription or switching to another subscription, including auto-renewal—meaning that from the next charge, payment will be made under the new terms.

Current subscriptions will continue to work under the old rules until a new subscription is purchased.

Important

Purchasing additional team seats within the current subscription is not considered a transition to the new terms.

What changes

1) Two new free access levels

To support business owners, we introduce two free roles that cover the most common scenarios: control, administration, and billing—without participation in day-to-day operational work.

Free “View-Only” Access (Free Read-Only Access)

Suitable for a manager/partner/analyst/observer who needs to see data but not change it.

Conditions:

view/read rights only

no rights to edit/create/delete

no schedule (the team member is not included in the schedule)

Why this role exists

Owners often need to give someone access for oversight: to review metrics, finances, and data—without the risks of editing and without increasing the paid team limit.

Free System manager (Free Altegio Administrator)

Suitable for a manager or owner’s assistant who handles system administration but does not work with bookings.

Conditions:

full view access

team management (create/edit/invite team members)

access to subscription payment/billing

no schedule (the team member is not included in the schedule)

This is an important distinction: in general, “editing = paid,” but for the Free Altegio Administrator role, an exception applies.

Why this role exists

In many companies, owners delegate team management to an assistant or manager.
