Altegio <\/strong>now features a new version of the event window<\/strong>. Just like in the new version of the appointment window, you can now manage all key client booking tasks<\/strong> in the central part of the window\u2014add products for sale, including memberships and gift cards, set individual discounts, apply loyalty, and accept payments\u2014without switching between tabs or appointments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional event-related<\/strong> actions have moved to the left panel,<\/strong> while client-specific<\/strong> actions are now on the right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating and configuring a group service<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To work with events, you first need to create group services. To do this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Create a service category under Services<\/strong> (Administration mode). A category is a folder with several types of similar services or tasks. A detailed guide on creating categories can be found in this article.<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. After creating a category, create a group service. Instructions for creating and setting up a service are described in detail in this article<\/a>.<\/strong> The difference between an event and individual service is that for a group service, you must select the “Group” <\/strong>type and set its capacity.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Go to Services<\/strong> (Administration mode). Select a service and enter edit mode, or create a new one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the General settings<\/strong> tab, check the Group event<\/strong> box in the Type<\/strong> field and set the Total capacity<\/strong> (“Maximum number of slots”). Then click Save.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Important <\/strong>

      For group services, you cannot change online booking settings per team member. Online booking can only be enabled or disabled for the entire service.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

      Creating a new event<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      To create a new event<\/strong>, click on the desired date in the calendar<\/strong> to open the schedule for that day. Select a team member and the time for the booking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
