In Altegio, users can configure push notifications in the mobile app. This feature is available on the Notifications<\/strong> tab in the user\u2019s account settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How it works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If push notifications are enabled for a location (in Administration <\/strong>mode, Team > Team members list, team member profile > Notifications tab<\/strong>), the system assigns a role for all team members in that location: team member<\/strong> or receptionist<\/strong>.
This role is automatically applied in the team member settings (Team > Team members list > team member profile > Notifications tab<\/strong>), and push notifications start being delivered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Configuring notifications in the Altegio app<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open the main menu by tapping More<\/strong> in the bottom bar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Go to Account settings<\/strong> by tapping your name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Open Notifications<\/strong> and enable the notifications you want to receive by switching the toggle on.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Important<\/strong>

    If the notification settings are locked when you open this section, contact your branch manager \u2014 push notifications must be enabled in Settings > Team members > team member profile > Notifications tab<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

    Enabling push notifications on your phone<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    To receive push notifications, your phone settings must allow Altegio to show pop-up notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Settings vary by device model, but the steps are generally similar within the same operating system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Notification settings on iPhone<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Go to Settings > Notifications > Altegio<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Turn on Allow Notifications<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. To receive sound alerts, enable Sounds<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Toggle Badges<\/strong> on\/off depending on whether you want the app icon to show the number of unread notifications.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Notification settings on Android<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      1. Go to Settings > Notifications > App notifications > Altegio<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Turn on Show notifications<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

      4. Enable Allow pop-up notifications<\/strong> to receive push notifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

        Important<\/strong>

        Push notifications will not arrive if your phone is in Do Not Disturb<\/strong> mode or Airplane mode<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
