There are two types of spaces in Altegio<\/strong>: locations and chains. Locations <\/strong>\u2014 with yellow highlight on the left, chains<\/strong> \u2014 with purple highlight on the left. Locations and chains have different sections. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To open the chain you need to do the following:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click the name of the location<\/strong> in the top left corner.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. In the drop-down list select <\/strong>the desired chain<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Note<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      If the Chain<\/strong> section is empty, it means you have not been added to the chain as a user and need to be added. Only a user with full permissions can add a user to the chain. To add a user, go to Settings > Users (in the chain)<\/strong> and click Add user<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Creating gift card type<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

      1. In the chain interface go to the Loyalty > Gift card<\/strong> types section and click the Create<\/strong> button and choose Gift card type<\/strong> option.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. On the newly opened page, enter the gift card type<\/strong> name, for example, Gift card for 1000<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          1. Enter the denomination<\/strong> (the gift card\u2019s starting balance) in the currency of the branches where it will be valid.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            1. Select the usage type<\/strong>:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
